A one ply silicone fiberglass hose with a helically wound chemically treated spring steel wire bonded to the interior surface of the hose. A fiberglass cord is wound over the outside between the wire coils. The hose is heat vulcanized for maximum adhesion and rubber-to-wire bond. Recommended for low pressure handling of air, dust or fumes. SF-1 is ideal for use in situations where minimum weight is a necessity. SF-1 is not recommended for liquids or abrasive materials. |

A two ply silicone fiberglass hose with a helically wound spring steel wire imbedded between the plies to insure maximum flexibility and minimum diameter restriction in sharp bend areas. The hose is wound with a fiberglass cord and heat vulcanized to provide greater strength and serviceability. Recommended for handling of air, dust, fumes and light powders. The inner ply provides a smooth interior for maximum flow and minimum friction loss. SF-2 is lightweight, non-kinking and simple to install. SF-2 is not recommended for handling liquids or abrasive materials. |
